What is a CIC?
A CIC is a Community Interest Company, which means we are a not-for-profit organisation similar to a charity.
How do I know what therapy I need?
We don't expect you to. The first stage of working with headstrong is what we call an assessment - which means we find out about you and match you to the therapist who works in a way that would best suit you. We recognise everyone is different, and we do our best to accommodate that.
How much do you charge?
The full cost of a Psychotherapy session is £40 per 50 minutes. However, we never want finance to be a barrier to accessing support therefore we offer some reduced rate and donation based sessions. Please contact us for more details.
Do you do couples counselling?
Yes, we offer a range of approaches to working with couples. We also deliver a specialised programme beyond relationship conflict.
Are my sessions with Headstrong confidential?
Yes - unless we are legally obliged to break confidentiality due to the law. This will be fully explained to you before you start work with your therapist.
Do you do home visits?
Unfortunately, we do not at this time. However, we do deliver sessions over Skype and FaceTime. Please contact us for more details.
